Date: April 4th 2008
Did you say you didn't hear? Well maybe you should open your ears & let me tell you about it. Pocket's going to kick your ass old school style this Saturday (tomorrow!). When I say old school, I mean you should bring a bag full of liquor through the door. Don't worry, they won't pat you down like they do in the clubs. You know why? Because there's not going to be a bar at this party. They're actually telling you to go out and buy a bottle so you don't have to pay for drinks. How awesome are these guys, seriously!?
This is gonna be like having a random house party at your rich friend's pad, but instead of hearing the latest Lil' Jon remix 40 times in a row because someone let the drunk asshole near the loop button on the CD player, you get to hear some of the baddest house / tech / minimal / lounge that you've ever had bounce around in that sweet lookin' cranium of yours. Oh, and you won't run into any d-bags that you don't know because they're throwing this party for their friends, which, let's face it, are most likely your friends, too. These guys know quite a few cool cats, however, the venue only holds 300 peeps, so get yer tickets now from www.pocketunderground.com!
I'm not playing, but I'll be there dressed to the nines in my jeans, hoodie, & worn out kicks. If you see me with a 40 of Schlitz, please feel free to come up to me and bitch slap it out of my hand. I obviously went too far ;-)

Saturday April 5th Pocket has a special treat for you. This is not a big club night . . . its not a warehouse party filled with people you dont know . . . its an intimate night in an intimate venue for all of us . . . our family, our friends, all of you that have supported us, played with us, danced with us, laughed with us. Were not collaborating, were not playing for someone else . . . this is gonna be an good old fashioned POCKET Party.
Its a night focused on the music - Pocket DJs bringing the dirty funk in one room and LALA bringing the juicy sexy down-tempo in the other. No over priced drinks served by snooty bartenders, no club drink prices . . . in fact, theres no bar at all. Old school bitchez - save your money and bring your own. Well have a little mixer bar with cups, ice and mixers. Bring what you wanna drink . . . dance like you mean it. No glitz, no glammor . . . just family, music, and some tasty art to feast your eyes upon.
This place is small, holds 300 tops. Please get yourself a pre-sale ticket to ensure you get in. Once we hit 300 we're done, and if we do it all in pre-sales then there'll be no tickets at the door. Quality over quantity people. Pre-sales are $15, $20 at the door. Cash only. 21 + BYOB
